Jemn (pronounced ‘gem’), formally known as Miss Jillz, Lola Maxwell, Elle Maxwell and Jemnstone, has managed to pour all of their queer soul into this 4-track self-composed album. This project differs from any of their previous work for reasons that will make themselves apparent with a few good listens, but it is encouraged to get lost in the mystery and imagination of Jemn. From the ambient ushering of Sonogram, welcoming us onto the journey, to Pheromones’ industrial sound melting us into its heart-racing mating jam. Originally released on January 17, 2019, this personal peace is sure to resonate, in some way, with you.
